Welcome to our new projects page. It is our desire to reach out to the hurting people in the world we live in today, lending a helping hand and sharing the love of Jesus with them. As our page grows, we invite you to become a part of helping those in your world. God expects us to grow in His grace and make progress in our Christian life toward maturity. Those who truly do this will be compelled to reach out and love others. The fuller we become of His love, the more it will overflow on to others.
Find those around you in need and reach out to them in Christ's love.
If everyone made a difference in one person's life, heaven will be fuller and the world would be a better place.
JOPLIN, MISSOURI
TORNADO
The response to our email for the victims of Joplin was overwhelming. Through the giving of many, we were able to help:
* Pay for four funerals
*Pay motel bills
*Provide food and gas
*Provide diapers
*Paper products & necessities
*Help with house repairs
*Gas for generators
and much more...
Thank you for showing Christ's love to those in need.
A family camping? No, this is one of Tulsa's many homeless camps. These are people in need of God's love, compassion and provision. We are teaming with Bob Massey of Helping Hands Ministry and several ministers as well as our local church group to further step toward this ministry by taking them necessity bags next month. Please keep us in prayer for direction in this new avenue of ministry.
